Kayak Explorers is paddling group on the west coast of Florida. Our members are mainly residents of Sarasota and Manatee Counties, but everyone is welcome to join. Our friendly group is suitable for beginners as well as more advanced paddlers. On some of our paddles we have a faster group and a more moderate speed group to accommodate any level. This group was started so that fellow GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender & our Allies) kayakers in SWFL would have a means of organizing group outings. Anyone interested in making new friends and doing a little 'yakking should sign up!
